Kala-i Sultaniye, one of the two castles built in the narrowest part of the Bosphorus for the defense of Istanbul in 1462-63, was modified according to the needs that arose over time. It opened as a museum on March 18, 1982. Objects exhibited in \u00c7anakkale Naval Museum; It consists of objects donated and collected by surveying battlefields and scanning villages. \u00c7anakkale Maritime Museum consists of 4 sections: the lodging building near the entrance, the inner castle inside the castle, the Nusrat Mine Ship and the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n

Exhibition Venues: The three-storey building that you encounter when you turn right from the entrance of the museum bears the architectural features of the early Republican Period. The two inscriptions at the entrance of the building read “Contractor Nafiz Nuri ENGINEER 1927” and the one on the left reads “Architect Arif S\u00fcleyman 1927”.
